Kevin is a seasoned leader with over a decade of experience building products that matter. He combines technical depth (BS in Electrical Engineering with an MBA from Harvard Business School) with a practical, outcomes-driven mindset.
- At Vantage Discovery, Kevin was the founding Head of Revenue and Go-to-Market. He oversaw sales, sales engineering, marketing, customer success, and developer relations, essentially building the commercial engine from the ground up. Vantage was an AI-powered search and discovery platform for e-commerce, founded in 2023 by former Pinterest engineers. Their mission was to bring smart, semantic search to retailers of all sizes. Shopify acquired Vantage in March 2025, integrating its capabilities into their platform .
- At Samsara (2019–2022), Kevin played a key role in launching the company’s first big bet: building industrial IoT solutions that would become a major growth driver. He became the first leader of the newly formed Connected Equipment product group, scaling it to approximately $70 million in ARR and leading it through Samsara’s IPO in December 2021.
- At McKinsey & Company (2014–2019), Kevin led large teams on transformation projects for instance, turning around a $70B agriculture business, and defining commercial strategy for a $7B African agribusiness expanding globally.
Kevin also holds a patent in asset monitoring, served on two of Samsara's advisory boards, mentors through his Kenyan Ambassadors Program, and speaks at global forums like the Harvard Africa Business Conference.
